Last week, I showed you the transformation of our dining room console. I thought I may as well show you the rest of the dining room while I’m at it.
The table was my parents. They bought it in 1969, the year they got married. It’s so beautiful. I couldn’t part with it.
Remember those chairs I ordered from Home Decorator’s Collection? Well, they have been given a makeover.
The other console is an oldie form Crate & Barrel. We painted it Peppermint Leaf by Benjamin Moore. The walls and console were painted in Benjamin Moore, Black Satin.
The mirror was $69.99 at HomeGoods. Another score!
The curtain fabric was custom-designed by yours truly. The gold medallions are hand-painted. We used the same curtains in the adjoining living room. I’ll be sharing those pics next week!

Beautiful!
Where do you get the lamps from? Beautiful room!
Hi Christina! I got the rug from Overstock.com YEARS ago. I would say this is pretty close: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Handmade-Alexa-Eco-Natural-Fiber-Cotton-Border-Sisal-Rug-8-x-10/5186345/product.html Good luck!
I found your blog from HomeGood’s Pin. I am so in love with this dining room! I thought that black would be dark and drab, but this is so light and airy. I may have to try it myself!
Wow, that room is stunning!! Can you tell me where you got the rug that’s under the table? Been looking for a rug exactly like that!
I love the black and green. So absolutely stunning!
