Flamingos.

I adore flamingos. They are such gorgeous creatures. It also helps that their feathers are my all-time favorite color. Flamingos add an element of fun and whimsy to any room.

For example, I framed this greeting card for a wall in Lou’s room. See it up there in the right-hand corner?

How fantastic are these two feathered friends?

These love birds make the perfect cake topper for a wedding or bridal shower.

This flamingo mobile almost makes me want to have another baby. Almost.

And this Gray Malin print would add a punch of color to an otherwise boring wall. I’ve scoured the internet for my favorite flamingo finds and here they are just for you!

I beleive it’s important to make a child’s room into retreat. A place that they can go to in order to escape. A big part of that is adequate seating. No matter what the size of your child’s room- there are plenty of options out there!

star sisters.

I few weeks ago I received the loveliest email from author Jen Blecher asking if she could send me a copy of the first book in her Star Sisters series. She knew I had two little girls and thought they would love it. Well, love it they did and now they are hooked! We now own all four of the books in the series and are plowing through them. I am always looking for new, interesting, age-appropriate books for my girls and we struck gold with Star Sisters- thanks so much, Jen!
