Connecticut Cool.

One Kings Lane is currently featuring the Connecticut home of accessory designer Brett Heyman. Brett is the founder of the accessory brand, Edie Parker.

The exterior of the home is so perfectly new england-esque. I could get used to this.

While the overall feel is traditional, Brett mixes in a modern-minimalist flair.

This looks like the perfect place for wine and s’mores.

Of course, everyone needs a bee house.

Studio McGee.

Lately, I’ve been drooling over the works of Studio McGee, a husband & wife team who left the “real world” to follow their dreams. Syd and Shea McGee have taken Pinterest by storm.

Beautiful, right?

I love all of the clean. simple lines.

Lots of black & white- my fave.

They even have a shop, where you can buy some of their favorite textiles. Buffalo check seems to be a favorite in this household. 😉

Muskoka Living Interiors.

Many of us Pinterest fanatics have pinned many of Muskoka Living Interiors‘ work- but I recently took a look at their website. There are no words except- Crazy. Cottage. Cool. This firm based out of Ontario has mastered the art of cottage chic. Don’t beleive me? Take a look for yourself.

Yep- that’s a garage.

Marc Appleton.

I recently stumbled upon the portfolio of Marc Appleton, a California-based architect. I’m in awe of his versatility and ability to create a structure that looks like it has been in it’s surroundings for years. I am particularly enamored with the exteriors of his work. Every project is perfectly suited to it’s location.

Patrick Dempsey’s House.

Have you guys seen Patrick Dempsey’s Malibu home in Architectural Digest? Oh. My. Gah. Designed in 1968 by Frank Gehry, this is a house I could live in.

It’s not even the house that draws me in as much as it is the land…

Naturally, they have an Airstream on the property where Patrick and his wife, Jillian escape for date nights.

I wasn’t even aware that a property this spacious existed in Malibu!

I’m obsessed with this custom concrete outdoor sofa and fire pit.

Of course they also have a mini-farm on the property.

So that they can grow their own organic produce.

And grill their organic pizzas in this beautiful outdoor pizza oven. Now THAT’S a life I could get used to!

Today I’d like to share with you the talents of Consort Design, an L.A.-based design studio.

They are the talent behind the homes of Jessica Alba, Nina Dobrev, Sophia Bush and many more.

Julianne’s Backyard.

I’m loving Jullianne Hough’s dreamy LA backyard that she styled with Joss and Main. It’s quaint, charming and provides the perfect environment for entertaining.

I also love that Joss and Main allows you to “Shop the Story.” You can purchase nearly every piece you see in these pictures. Those blue throw pillows are screaming my name!
