paint it gold.

It’s no big secret that I am a lover of gold spray paint.  I wanted to share yet another tryst in our long, laborious affair.

IMG_1161My parents bought this table in 1977, the year they bought our beach condo.  It was in rough shape (totally rusted and scratched) and didn’t make the cut after the redesign.  So I loaded it into the truck and hauled it home hoping to use it somewhere on our back porch that was being built at the time.Back Porch

Well, 20 minutes and a few coats of gsp and she has a whole new life-  currently being used as a bar cart on the porch.

fashion friday: don’t be so drab.

Fall Color

Fall is my absolute favorite season, but now that almost all of the leaves have fallen, November brings on the beginnings of dreary weather.  I like to turn up the color as the weather gets colder.  It just makes me happy.  I’m not sure why women use the fall as an excuse to get as dark and drab as possible.  I say turn it up!  Let’s get loud, ladies!

home for halloween.

Sunrise

As you lovelies are waking up and reading this, I am landing at Dulles.  I flew through the night to be home with my babies for Halloween. For some reason my company thinks it’s ok to book a sales conference over the week of Halloween (two years in a row)… Newsflash… It’s not.   Last year we all actually missed Halloween with our children.  I am tired.  REALLY tired.  But I’d do it all over again for these two.
