I like where this trend is going.
It’s not very often that I give a store two shout outs, but the Papaya Tree has really upped their game since my last post. Don’t beleive me? Check these out.
It’s no big secret that I am a lover of gold spray paint. I wanted to share yet another tryst in our long, laborious affair.
My parents bought this table in 1977, the year they bought our beach condo. It was in rough shape (totally rusted and scratched) and didn’t make the cut after the redesign. So I loaded it into the truck and hauled it home hoping to use it somewhere on our back porch that was being built at the time.
Well, 20 minutes and a few coats of gsp and she has a whole new life- currently being used as a bar cart on the porch.
Because it’s outside 24/7 there is some minor patina that occurs, but I love it. It add character.

I am loving these pillows from Pink & Piper. Made with fabrics from both American and European designers, some of these are real show stoppers!
I have received a few requests about the bamboo chairs on our porch. Here is what they looked like when I received them. E actually thought that I chose this fabric. Obviously, we need to have a lesson on 70’s decor.
Here they are now in Trina Turk’s Trellis fabric.
I bought them here. They arrived and needed some serious TLC (the legs would actually fall off when you sat in them.) Now they are sturdy, strong and GORGEOUS!
