Curiosities.

I posted about this book back in Spring 2011. I wanted it.. BAD, but wasn’t willing to pay $500 for it… (Now the price has quadrupled at $2,000.. WOWSA!)

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of sconces. Although they don’t have what I am looking for, I keep coming back to Charles Edwards’ lighting. I ain’t kidding— he makes some real stunners. Check it out for yourself.

Family Circle.

Last Summer, I was so shocked to get a call from Family Circle Magazine that they wanted to feature our kitchen for the November issue. Well, it’s out now people, and here are the results….

I had no idea of how much time and effort went into every little shot. This was a 9:00-5:30 day, people… And we were a- hustlin’! It was an honor to work with the entire team at Family Circle. I learned so much. What a fun day we had!

Thinking Pink.

Our master bathroom is waaaay overdue for a makeover. Now the question is what to do, and how fast can I scrape together the money to do it. The girls bathroom is also ready for a makeover, and I figured, why not do it all at once? For some reason, I keep putting my room on hold and continue to focus on theirs… And I can’t help but think pink wallpaper. By now, you all know, pink is my absolute favorite color….
