I’m not sure how it’s even possible, but today my little Anna Lou turns six. We have an agreement that she is not allowed to grow any older.

I have said it before, and I’ll say it again. Kids’ rooms are my absolute favorite room in the house to design. My best advice to a parent decorating a child’s room? Make it a room that they can be just as happy in at 6 as 16. You’ll end up spending a lot less money in the long run! Here’s a little girls room to dream on.

a hole in our family.
I am heartbroken. On Sunday, my father-in-law lost his battle to renal cancer. Pop Pop was a true gentleman. He had a bigger than life personality that lit up every room he walked into. We will miss his sparkle, his laugh and his smile. His legacy will live in all of us.
