I’m in a New York State of Mind.

Last week, I went to New York for work.

We had some great nights…

…and some good mornings.

We stayed in the meat packing district, near our office… at the Standard, right next to DVF.

There was a lot of this.

and some of this.

Here we are at the top of the Standard. A little too hipster for me. But I decided to go with it…

After a few cocktails, we got some beach waves courtesy of blow.

Which, I just learned was the original blow-dry bar.

We also splurged for some eyelash extensions. I am SERIOUSLY in love. No mascara, no eyeliner.

Lately, I have become a big fan of Revlon’s nail polish. Last week I posted this picture on Instagram and I can’t tell you how many people asked what nail color I was wearing.

Seriously, even the little old lady in the Dr.’s office wanted a piece of the action. Well, here it is…

Beach Waves.

I used to attempt adding life to my hair with a curing iron. Not anymore. Not after reading this tutorial on creating the perfect waves with a flat iron. It’s much easier, faster and lasts all day!
