We had the most AMAZING trip to Norway. Honestly, it’s been hard to adjust back to real life.We spent two weeks on a cruise ship visiting so many beautiful cities along the coastline.
There were countless breathtaking fjords.
The weather was anywhere from -5 degrees to 75 degrees throughout our trip– but my packing strategy went off without a hitch!
We passed the Arctic Circle and visited some breathtaking glaciers.E took this picture unknowingly with the selfie stick– I think that kid has a future in photography!
I was motivated to work out on the track of the ship- world’s most beautiful backdrop! shoes
After two weeks on the ship, we spent another week with family in Hvasser. I could live here.We truly had the trip of a lifetime. Of course, only half of our family was there- so as you can imagine, after three weeks I was happy to get back to Lou and Michael (and the furry girls.)
(Meaning Goodbye in Norwegian.) Next week, E and I are headed to Norway for three weeks with my Dad, stepmother, sister and neice. We will be traveling through the Fjords for two and a half weeks and ending our trip visiting our cousins at their lake house on the island of Hvasser. While I am wildly excited to have this amazing opportunity and special family time my heart is breaking at the thought of leaving my little Louie Taco behind. Three weeks is a looong time for a seven year old to be away from their mommy— and it might be even longer for her mommy to be away from her. But I know that she is in good hands with Daddy- he’s got quite the agenda planned!
The other stress factor for me was what to pack?!? We will be on a ship for two and a half weeks so we will need to pack lightly. The average temperatures can be anywhere from 20 degrees to 80 degrees. Packing for this trip requires a serious strategy! I think I’ve finally got it all figured out.
