Fleabags.
Strange name, I know, but I spotted this brown suede little beauty in last month’s InStyle and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Me likey. It makes me think of Fall. I imagine myself rocking this baby with a cream cable knit turtleneck and some weathered jeans.
Fleabags was started by two women who were in the design industry and were frustrated with the environmental hazard and waste that plastic bags created. They wanted a dapper, large and versatile bag to carry all of their goods. While this is much more expensive than your average Envirosax bag, I dig it and would love to have one for a gym, overnight or laptop bag.
Just look at these babies….

Instagram.
I am officially obsessed with Instagram. I downloaded it a few weeks ago, but didn’t really have the time to play around with it until our 2.5 hour trip to Dutch Wonderland last weekend. For those of you that are unaware of this addictive (free) iPhone App, do not hesitate, download now. It allows you to take your standard picture and turn in into a gem.
You can turn this average iPhone pic:
Into this:
I just love the vintage feel that this app brings to any picture. Here are some more shots from our weekend:
You can also follow other users and get a running feed of their photos, much like Facebook or Twitter. My username is klnsalmon if you want to follow me.

Get Your Goyard On.
The latest handbag to take Hollywood by storm is the Goyard Weekend Bag. Gwyneth, Nicole, LC, and Tori have one.. Why shouldn’t you?
Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot… Goyard isn’t gifting each of us one. Maybe you can add to it your Christmas list?… I hope you are being a very good girl because the small will run you $940, and the large will cost a whopping $1,065.
Which color do you like best? I love Nicole Ritchie’s white weekender, but I am also loving LeAnn Rime’s pink version. (Waa, Waa… Limited edition, no longer available.)
Then I spotted this puppy, and I fell in love- Purple and Orange and monogrammed to perfection.
Monogramming your Goyard isn’t a standard process. The stripes and monograms are actually painted on by a Goyard painter trained in Paris. Each of these options are considered an additional service, monogramming (up to 6 letters) is $165, and up to three stripes will run you an additional $150.
Here is Goyard’s offering of bags. The Saint Louis is the most popular.
Can’t control yourself? Call Leanna at the Goyard Store in San Francisco. (415) 398.1110. Tell her Kiki sent you!

Jujulicious
I have been yearning for a feather Juju Hat for what seems like ages. What the hell is a Juju hat you ask? Behold:
Traditionally worn by Village Chiefs in the Cameroon region of central Africa, Juju hats have since gained popularity with interior designers, and are often used as an eye-catching accessory for the home. Beautiful bird feathers are painstakingly hand sewn onto a raffia fiber base/basket that splays out into a huge circle. Feathers are considered rare objects of beauty and a symbol of prosperity and wealth associated with the positive qualities of birds.
Very much a trend of the moment, the concern is that by the time I save up to buy one, that they will be yesterday’s trend. But I truly believe that I love the pop of color and the layers of texture so much that this is not something I will stash away in my storage room in a year. I think it would look gorgeous over a guest bed, mantle or piano.
The lovely Louise has plenty in stock. I just can’t decide if I want the orange or pink.
