Kiki’s List: What I’m Loving For Spring.

Hello friends!  While I missed you all during our vacation, I was enjoying reading up on what my blogging friends are loving for Spring– thanks again ladies!
So, here’s what I am loving for spring–all things colorful; pink (big surprise there) orange, a mixture of the two (coral), trouser jeans, anything boho, wedges and lots of gold jewelry (although that seems to be a staple for me every season.)  As you may remember from last summer, Geodes are a favorite of mine.  I must give props to Lindsay of The Pursuit of Style to turning me onto this cuff.  I ordered this baby before my trip and was so elated to come home to her.  What a gorgeous piece for $60!

Here are the spring items that made it onto Kiki’s List:

1. Ikat Dress– $295
2. Lanvin Flats– $485
3. Paisley Scarf– $310
6. Wedge Sandals– $175
8. Agate Cuff– $60
9. Francesca Coral Tote– $239.99

Bring on the Spring!

Hi this is Tia Zoldan here! Thank you Krista for inviting me over to your wonderful blog!
I am totally looking forward to Spring, I am not a fan of the cold weather. I know I shouldn’t
talk about that being over here in L.A. , the forecast this weekend will be the 75 degrees and sunny! Anyways…here a few things that I have on my mind for Spring!

A colorful bag! this one is awesome, it is
made from a luxurious terry material so it
would be just perfect for the beach or pool!
find it here!

Everyone needs a really good classic looking hat…
this one is from J.Crew

Green is on my mind for interiors, I am currently having a
green silk velvet ottoman made and I cannot wait to see
how it brings so much life into a room!

I might have to steal this one from my daughters, though
I can’t decide which color I like best! The purple is also to
die for. Also from J.crew (crewcuts)

I think what everyone needs this spring is
at least one pair of bright colored pants.
I LOVE this blue pair, in fact,I love the whole outfit!

Loving these bright colored ipad covers from Smythson.
Spring is all about color so go wild!
Thank you for having me Krista! Come visit me when you
are here in L.A.! And to all of your readers…have a wonderful weekend!!
much love,
Tia

What I’m Loving for Spring: The Pursuit of Style

Hi Kiki’s List readers! This is Lindsay from The Pursuit of Style and I’m happy to be sharing a few of the items on my spring wish list with you while Krista is on vacation.
Screen shot 2011-01-26 at 11.31.43 PM
This spring, I’m sticking to classics in a neutral palette with pops of color and pattern. A Burberry Trench is high on my “covet list” and definitely the most stylish way to beat April showers. I plan on stacking a classic gold link bracelet with more trendy pieces like House of Harlow’s Aztec bracelet. Butter London’s Primrose Hill Picnic is my pick for perfectly pink fingers and toes. I’m obsessed with scalloped anything this spring, but these Chloe ballet flats in particular are calling my name! Flea Bags’ Original Flea Bag would be perfect for antiquing, or weekend trips to the farmer’s market. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of Breton stripes and this Calypso bikini is just begging to be packed for a weekend getaway!
I hope you enjoyed my picks for spring. It was so much fun to put together (especially since I’m snowed in as we speak!) Thanks for having me Krista, let’s hope spring gets here sooner rather than later!

Look Linger Love Welcomes Spring

Hi there!  Chassity here from Look Linger Love, and I’m pretty stoked to be visiting with you all today.  Like a lot of you, I’m ready for spring (have been since we hit the new year).  Here are a few styles that I’m most looking forward to wearing.

I wear sunglasses all year round.  But there is something special about getting a new pair to welcome warm weather.  These Jackie O inspired shades make me happy.

And I’m all about some full skirts lately.  This one could be dressed up or down.
While my feet see plenty of high heels, I love a great flat to chase around my little girl during the day.
And a pretty cover-up for lounging around the pool…

Thanks for having me over to your pretty blog today, Krista.  That’s all folks!
xoxo,
Chassity

Spring Hot List from A Thoughtful Place

I am so excited and honored to be kicking off a great week of Hot Lists for Spring.  I am Courtney from A Thoughtful Place. As a California girl, I already have my eye on Spring as we have had a taste of 75 degree weather. Once Spring rolls around, I am always ready to shed the bulky sweaters, fur vests, and boots and bring on the vibrant colors and lightweight fabrics. I put together a few things that will be on my Spring Hot List for sure.

Tory Burch Stripe Espadrille

Yes, please! I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of espadrilles this Spring and these don’t disappoint. Too cute.

Nordstrom 'Mix Dot' Reversible Scarf

I have to admit that I can never give up my scarves as I transition out of winter. Luckily, the Spring collection will have a multitude of bright colors and patterns.

Cropped pants will be big this season! So will the color orange . . . so watch out for it! Are you up for sporting the short pant? I am loving the high waist on these.
Sailor sweater

Anything nautical is a good pick for Spring. I love how you can dress it up or dress it down. And showing up in a navy and white striped shirt pretty much works for all occasions.
JPK Paris Nylon Bucket Bag with Chunky Hardware

This Nylon bags are also popular for Spring and I can see why. They come in a bunch of different colors and the hardware is fantastic.

Monogrammable Outdoor Pillow

And lastly, I think my patio would love a little Spring in it’s step, too! You can’t go wrong with a monogram pillow. Makes a fun gift as well!

I had so much fun hanging out today here at Kiki’s List! The girl knows her style. Looking forward to the other Hot Lists coming up this week.
Pop on over to A Thoughtful Place to visit any time you’d like!

The Bigger the Better: Cocktail Rings.

A cocktail ring is a dramatic large ring, generally worn at cocktail parties. The cocktail ring was especially popular to wear during US prohibition at illegal cocktail parties. Wearing a cocktail ring flaunted not only the fact that one was drinking illegally, but also that they were doing it with style.

Popularity of the cocktail ring gained in the 1940s and 1950s, as cocktail parties continued to be popular events. We saw the revival of the cocktail ring at the Oscars in 1996, and they are certainly here to stay.

I love a good cocktail ring. My theory on these babies aligns with my theory in life: “Go big, or stay home.” The bigger the better. So put on your cocktail ring and raise a glass to these beauties. Here are the cocktail rings that made it onto Kiki’s List:

1. Horsebit Cocktail Ring- $3,390

2. Sunshine Ring– ON SALE $51.50 ***KIKI’S LIST FAVE
