Soooooooo, as it turns out, the shoes that I posted about yesterday are now sold out.  I was able to find them online in a size 8 (that NEVER happens) here and here.  Go get ’em!

I have never been a fan of the “Princess” phase that little girls go through.  I would cringe when you asked one of them what they wanted to be when they grow up and they would reply “a Princess.”  I wanted them to see past the glitter and tulle.  I wanted them to not rely on a Prince to always save the day.  I wanted them to aspire to be more than just another beautiful face.   So,  when I saw this commercial on the Disney Channel the other day, I’ll admit… it made me tear up just a little.  It was powerful.  Maybe I’m a sucker.  Check it out for yourself.

Lou couldn’t be bothered to get our of her jammies to walk Sissy to the bus stop.

E creeped into our bed early this morning and confessed that she was really nervous.

But I know she is going to do just fine.  We are so proud of you, E-Burger!
