HomeGoodies.

I did it again….  Totally crushed it at HomeGoods.

I wanted this settee, but all I took home was these two.
How adorable for a little girl’s bathroom?

Chartreuse.  Say no more.

Side tables galore.

Love the colors in this Suzani chair.

Gorg.

Scooped up these two for my basement.

A little turquoise sparkle.

I was DYING over this campaign desk.  It was huge.  If I only had room for it.  I hope whoever gets it give it a good home.

I also bought two of these for my basement. Spoiler alert: orange, orange everywhere!

I so wanted to buy this and paint it.  Unfortunately I was out of time, space and money.  Until next time HomeGoods!

Dried Out.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am reaching the end of my rope with winter weather.  I am SO ready for Spring.  Here on the East Coast the air is so dry right now… The first step in combatting the dreaded dry out was to install a humidifier in our furnace.  The second was finding good products to get me through this winter dry spell.

Back Porch.

Awwww… sookie!  I’ve been scheming over our back porch y’all and it is going to be GOOD.  I am hoping that I can scrape together the cash to get this project started in the next couple of weeks, but that will be determined after I do my taxes next week. ;/  Grant it, my backyard is a postage stamp…. and has quite a few ahem, challenges… but I am always up for a good challenge.  Here are some pictures to let you know where I am going with this one….

Round Here

I finally got some cabinets for my laundry room.  (Ikea, of course.)

Bought these babies at Marshall’s for $4.99.  I also made a lot of progress in the Guest Bedroom…

I hung up some prints from Annie Flynn.
Finally got the bedding sitch squared away.
And will be hanging these ASAP.  Now let’s talk about this.
E had a Father-Daughter dance last Friday. First and foremost, the fact that I was able to get her out of sweatpants and a tee shirt deserves some serious props.  But how could this possibly be my little baby?     I can’t stand it.
