I am loving Pierre Frey’s Arty Fabric lately. See it on that chair up there?
i am seriously swooning over this chair.
This pillow could be yours.
This seems like a really fun DIY.. am I right?

Yesterday I returned from a whirlwind trip to California and came home to a pile of mail. Immediately, I gravitated to the shelter magazines- one of them being House Beautiful. Inside was a spread of former Domino and Lonny editor Michelle Adams. She left the high-paced life of NYC and bought a fixer-upper in her home state of Michigan. First of all, let me say I can’t beleive she didn’t get the cover! Michelle pens the article herself. I love how she describes different elements of her home and even shares tricks that she learned from her days as an editor. You can check out the before and afters here. I’m seriously digging this über dark grey color for the exterior. So clean and modern! Her living room is dreamy! I love the contrast of the traditional marble fireplace, stark white walls and modern Stilnovo Holstebro Pendant Lamp.
She painted most of the interior walls Tibetan Jasmine (Ralph Lauren Paint) — the color of practically every Ralph Lauren showroom worldwide “because how can you go wrong with that?”
The kitchen is light and airy. Michelle took down the dated upper cabinets and replaced them with open shelving to lighten up the space.
She fell in love with the paintings of Karyn Lyons and commissioned this piece for her space.
I love the mix of high and low here. The cabinet is from Crate and Barrel, the light fixture, Nickey Kehoe, and the fabric for the curtains are Hollyhock Pyne by F. Schumacher.
Her bedroom was inspired by Ali Cayne‘s bedroom that she featured in 2013 for Domino. I love the navy Ralph Lauren paint on the walls. Perfectly paired with the Madeline Weinrib blanket
Buying an older house has it challenges, the first being lack of closet space. Michelle took space from an adjoining room to create her dream closet, designed by California Closets.I love the mix of the mid-century Oly Side Chair and Traditional chest.
She added mirrors to both sides of every door upstairs to brighten the space, “It’s a trick I spotted in Michele Bönan’s hotels.”
Michelle discovered this rustic wood wall behind the drywall in her office. She left it exposed, perfect option to a cork board!
Here’s my latest Etsy Love: Love Bohemians. They offer adorable storage options at a great price!
How great are these baskets for toy storage?
Ditto- even bigger!
Loving these handmade make-up bags.
These canvas pots are needed in every house with kids.
