Fall is in the Air.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the sound of leaves crackling under my feet. The temperature is dropping quickly here on the East Coast. Here are some of my favorite pieces to keep you warm.

Best. Chocolate. Ever.

Let me preface this post by saying that I am not a “sweets” person. Very rarely do I indulge in dessert (I’d rather have chips or fries– salty is my weakness.) I digress…. This summer when we went to Norway I got hooked on this. Seriously, you guys- it is amazing. So rich and creamy- like little bites of heaven.

We just ran out of the stockpile that we bought in customs so I had to order more on Amazon. We are down to two squares and E has claimed them- I promised her I would wait until the new shipment was delivered. TG for Amazon Prime!

Ginger Jars.

Lately I’ve become obsessed with Ginger Jars- a look I NEVER thought I’d bring into my home. However, I just purchased this table for our upstairs foyer and have been collecting every Ginger Jar I could find to place on top of it. Ginger Jars originated in China during the Tang Dynasty. They were originally used to hold various spices and when they were shipped west they mostly contained ginger (hence the name.) Now you can get them in many different designs as well as price ranges.
