A few months ago, my niece Allie emailed me that she wanted a “cooler” place for her and her friends to hang out. \u00a0You see the F.R.O.G (Front Room Over the Garage) in their house was her designated area and it just didn’t meet her style. \u00a0Since she was a high school senior and my sister and brother in-law would be moving upon her graduation, we had a very tight budget to work within. \u00a0Here are some befores..<\/div>\n

Allie and I worked around some of her favorite things… Her favorite color was turquoise and she wanted it to have a cool vibe. \u00a0Since we were on a limited budget, all of them items were wither DIY or on the cheap. \u00a0They live in Chapel Hill, NC, so everything was done virtually. \u00a0Here was the plan we worked up.<\/div>\n

I received pictures from them after just a few changes and wow, what a difference a coat of paint and some elbow grease makes.<\/div>\n
