Last week I showed you some pictures of dining room with a promise of living room pictures on the horizon. I always keep my promises people, so here you go!
The gold leaf tray was a HomeGoods DIY.
I love this piece. It was a Mother’s Day gift made by E last year.
See how I made this butterfly collection here. The stools are from HomeGoods!
It took a long time to find just the right paper for the ceiling. I was thrilled that the winner was from Home Depot! The chairs were a Craigslist find that I reupholstered.
As you may know, the curtains were custom painted.
I had my Grandmother’s piano bench reupholstered with a metallic cowhide.
Remember the Nate Berkus turtle shells that I painted? Aren’t they fab?
Found this needlepoint on Craiglist. Had her made into a pillow. We had leftover turquoise linen from the wingbacks, so I had two pillows made. The Schumacher pillows are from Etsy.
We love our new living room. What I love most is that we didn’t break the bank creating it.

Now I am ready to do my breakfast, afterward having my breakfast coming again to read additional news.
Found your blog through sixth street design school-gorgeous colors in your living room! I’m wondering where your pillows and the pretty lotus tea light holders are from?
Love all the colors!

Beautiful!!
Such a fun colorful room! I’m dying over the pillows on your blue chairs–where are they from??!
Love the heart art so sweet and personal!
absolutely gorgeous! The color palette is so cheerful and bright!
I love how much color and texture you use without it looking overwhelming. Those benches from Homegoods look like such a score and I am dying to get one of those tortoise shells from Target and spray paint it as well!
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!
