I finally caught up on the stack of magazines sitting on my kitchen counter and was SO excited to see Holly Peterson’s Hampton’s newly renovated beach house in Elle Decor. After her divorce, Holly stripped all of the beige elements from the house and infused her new home with color and life. This is my kind of beach house!

So many people have asked me about the juju hat above E’s bed. Let’s just say it was a major ordeal getting it and it cost over $300. So, when I saw that Pottery Barn Kids had this “feathered art decor” at the price point of $39 – $99, I figured I better tell y’all about it! Are they from Cameroon? Probably not. Are there a ton of colors to choose from? Definitely not. But if you can make the white or the coral work for you it’s with the $200 savings. (I wish they offered the large in coral.) Nonetheless, they will go fast so get ’em while they last!
I am currently working on a beyond amazing palm mural for a client. It’s going to be ridiculous. Probably my most favorite room I’ve designed to date. For those that don’t have the courage (or cash) to go full force on the palms- I give you these banana leaf prints by Jessica Rowe.
