There was a time when I loved Banana Republic. I was right out of college and BR almost seemed couture based on the budget I had to work with. I have a BR leather bomber jacket that I bought 15 years ago- it’s still my favorite jacket that I own. Then something happened- I don’t know if my taste changed (I think it was more likely that their designers changed) but I felt as though everything Banana was very bland and boxy. So I stopped shopping there. That is, until now.
